Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Description:
We are hiring for our client a leading manufacturing company with a global footprint based in Banbridge. They are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their innovative and multidisciplined engineering team. This role involves delivering cuttingedge design solutions for new concepts and the customisation of existing products.

The Role:
- Create and manage 3D models of parts and assemblies.
- Develop 2D detail and assembly drawings.
- Design and route electrical harness layouts and equipment.
- Manage engineering drawings through release and change control procedures.
- Support prototype hardware build during NPI development.
- Collaborate with integrated project teams to deliver work packages.
- Contribute to innovative design solutions.
- Follow company procedures and design office standards.
The Person:
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Strong 3D CAD modelling skills.
- Experience in a design and/or engineering role.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in IT tools including MS Office.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with electrical equipment integration and layout modelling.
- Proficiency in Catia V5/V6 and PLM software (e.g. Enovia SmarTeam).
