Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathy.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine
- Completion of a Gastroenterology Fellowship with board certification or board eligibility.
- Selfmotivated with a willingness to work as a team to achieve common goals.
Job Details:
- Join a team of other esteemed Physicians and Providers in a busy practice setting.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient and corporate information
- Perform diagnostic procedures (e.g. endoscopies colonoscopies) at a stateoftheart endoscopy center to identify gastrointestinal conditions and diseases.
- Evaluate patient history and symptoms to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results to inform patient care decisions.
- Provide specialized treatments for conditions such as IBS Crohns disease ulcers and liver disease.
- Administer preventive care and screenings such as cancer screenings and dietary assessments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on treatment options lifestyle changes and disease management.
- Participate in research or clinical trials to advance knowledge in gastroenterology.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records to ensure continuity of care.
- Stay updated on new treatments and technologies within the field of gastroenterology.
- Build relationships with patients value bedside manner and possess excellent clinical skills.
- Develop and implement patient management plans record progress notes and assist in provision of continuity of care.
- Communicate with patients regarding testing results followup care and additional information.
- Refer patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as appropriate.
