A partner hospital in Lenoir NC is seeking a FullTime Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care a strong desire to contribute to a collaborative clinical environment and a commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Patient Care: Perform physical exams diagnostic tests surgeries and provide treatment for animals with a variety of medical conditions.
- Client Education: Educate pet owners on preventive care treatment options and general pet wellness.
- Surgical & Medical Procedures: Perform surgeries and administer medications as needed.
- Diagnostic & Preventive Care: Utilize stateoftheart technology such as cold/therapy laser and acupuncture to enhance patient care.
- Team Collaboration: Engage with a multidoctor team to provide excellent patient care and ensure a positive work environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Education: DVM/VMD degree from an AVMAaccredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
- Licensing: Active license in good standing to practice in North Carolina (or the ability to obtain a license in the state).
- Experience: This role is open to veterinarians of all experience levels from new graduates to seasoned professionals.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills the ability to work independently and as part of a team and a passion for continuing education.
