As aDirector of Life of Mine (LOM) Planning & Transformation you will lead and executehighimpact transformation projectsthat extend the operational lifespan of mining assets. In this strategic role you will overseemultiyear initiatives optimize resource allocation and mitigate operational risksto maximize asset value and business performance.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely withsenior leadership crossfunctional teams and external stakeholdersto drivesustainable growth and operational efficiency.
- Own theendtoend managementof LOM projects ensuring alignment with longterm business objectives.
- Develop and implementmultiyear strategic plansfocused on operational efficiency and asset longevity.
- Lead theprioritization and governanceof transformation projects with measurable business impact.
- Define and implement best practices forproject management methodologies governance and risk mitigation.
Financial & Risk Management
- Overseebudgeting cost control and financial forecastingto ensure optimal project .
- Identify and mitigateoperational financial and regulatory risks integrating datadriven insights into decisionmaking.
- Drive continuous improvement throughlean methodologies and process optimization.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
- Act as atrusted advisorto senior leadership providing insights on asset optimization and longterm mine planning.
- Engage with key stakeholders includingoperations finance engineering and regulatory bodies to ensure project success.
- Build strong relationships withvendors partners and government agenciesto secure key project approvals and partnerships.
Transformation & Continuous Improvement
- Leaddigital and operational transformation initiativesto enhance mine productivity and sustainability.
- Promote aculture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvementacross the organization.
- Mentor and coach crossfunctional teams strengthening project management capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree inEngineering Business Mining or a related field.
- MBA or advanced leadership certification (preferred).
- 10 yearsinProject Management LOM Strategy or Asset Optimizationwithin themining heavy industry or energy sector.
- Proven track record ofmanaging multimilliondollar transformation projectsin a complex operational environment.
- Strong knowledge ofLife of Mine (LOM) planning asset lifecycle management and regulatory compliance.
- Experience withfinancial modeling cost optimization and operational risk management.
- Proficiency inProject Management tools (MS Project Primavera SAP Power BI or equivalent).
