Job Description
Your Team Responsibilities
The Quality Centre of Excellence team is a crossfunctional team responsible for measuring and tracking Quality KPIs within the MSCI technology organization.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP using services such as Compute Engine Kubernetes Engine Cloud Functions and more.
- Assist in containerizing workloads.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and release management of cloud applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure application scalability reliability and performance on the cloud platform.
- Implement and manage monitoring logging and alerting systems to ensure the health and availability of cloud services.
- Enhance the security of applications and infrastructure by implementing security guidelines and best practices and integrating tools.
- Continuously improve DevOps processes and practices implementing industry best practices and leveraging cloud native tools and services.
- Provide technical guidance and support to teams for efficient utilization of DevOps tools and services.
- Must be intuitive to anticipate needs and be able to keep the big picture in mind while working through details.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.
- Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and Azure Devops.
- Hands on experience automating and orchestrating infrastructure with tools like Terraform.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with scripting languages like Bash or Python
- Proficient with git and git workflows.
- Proficient in leveraging CI and CD tools like Azure DevOps GitLab CI Bitbucket CI etc. to automate testing and deployment.
- Experience working in an agile fast paced DevOps environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Comfortable working in a metrics driven environment.
