Role Details:
Routes: Delivering to locations around Adelaide with our Visy products.
Locations:Based out of Kilkenny Depot.
Hours:Both AM and PM positions.
What youll do:
- Running Semi and BDouble combination.
- Conduct thorough pretrip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
- Ensure timely and efficient pickup and delivery of freight maintaining adherence to schedules.
- Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
- Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
- Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.
What You Will Bring:
- A valid MC Licence with minimum of 2 years recent Australian driving experience.
- Experience with tautliners flatbeds retractable or container trailers.
- Sound knowledge of the regional areas or interstate routes.
- Provide a full 5year demerit point history report.
- Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
- Excellent communication time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- A comprehensive understanding of road fatigue and load restraint laws.
- BFM Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
