Job Description

Position Summary
The School of Medicine is seeking applications for a faculty position to serve as Director of Standardized Patient Learning Center. Under the broad direction of the Assistant Dean for Advanced Learning and Simulation the primary responsibility of this position is to direct the operations of the Standardized Patient Learning Center. This includes working with the Director for Advanced Learning and Simulation course/clerkship directors and Medical Director of the Standardized Patient Learning Center in the development and implementation of instructional methods and evaluation strategies for an integrated clinical skills curriculum maintenance of physical resources including a sophisticated data/video software management system and implementing an integrated standardized patient program for diverse learners to include all levels of medical students Advanced Practice trainees in Nursing and Allied Health nursing students Allied Health students all levels of residents and faculty. The Director will work closely with the Assistant Dean of Advanced Learning and Simulation the Medical Director and the Director for Advanced Learning and Simulation in the implementation of educational and assessment modules. Primary faculty appointment will be in an appropriate academic department; rank and track determined by qualifications.
