Job Title: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Full Time Permanent Day Shift Monday Friday
Location:Manheim PA Work Location: In Person
Job Overview:
Zug Family Dentistry is currently looking to hire a part time EFDA. Our practice is team and patient focused. We ensure that all EFDAs have sufficient time to complete procedures and expect high quality restorations. EFDAs should be well organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.

Job Responsibilities Include:
Welcome patients in the dental office
Select and set up instruments equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4handed dentistry
Perform all Expanded Function duties
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and postoperative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and wellstocked
Maintain accurate patient records
Job Skills:
Proven experience as dental assistant and EFDA
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Knowledge of Itero scanner and Invisalign is a plus
Clinical experience should include placing composite restorations temporary crown fabrication rubber dam placement and sealant placement
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills and Dentrix experience a plus
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Wellorganized and reliable
High school diploma; graduating from dental assisting school is a plus
Additional EFDA certification is a MUST with 12 years of clinical experience

XRay Certification (Required)
