What Youll Bring:
- 6 years of professional experience in Information Security or related field
- Expertise in vulnerability management and security testing lifecycles processes and procedures
- Excellent working knowledge of best security practices attack surface management concepts application security enterprise vulnerability management platforms security technologies known attack vectors and vulnerability assessment methodologies;
- Strong working knowledge with operating systems hardening network technologies development methodologies and experience with one or more programming/scripting languages targeted towards the ability to automate repeatable tasks
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP DNS UDP etc.
Wed Love to See:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Cybersecurity Information Security or equivalent experience
- Experience with AWS Python Containers and Orchestration Splunk
- Willingness to work with multifaceted diverse teams and an empathetic team player who can think plan and deliver out of the box projects
- Generate valuable metrics and hence follow a data driven approach to security
Impact Youll Make:
TransUnion is looking for a Vulnerability Management Senior Advisor to join its Global Vulnerability and Threat Management team. The role will provide technical expertise and thought leadership across the vulnerability management lifecycle including asset management scanning analysis and reporting.
The ideal candidate would be driven to continually learn while contributing with extensive experience in vulnerability management processes policy configurations automated scanning network security and will collaboratively execute on core services that are essential to securing Transunions business. Along with technical knowledge attention to detail team spirit and coordination are essential to succeeding in this role.

- Contribute to key vulnerability management programs for onprem and cloud
- Conduct research on current vulnerabilities and exploits using publicly available trusted resources and other finished vulnerability products
- Implement and utilize a combination of automated tools and manual checks to identify and validate vulnerabilities
- Effectively communicate the risks associated with identified vulnerabilities and provide recommendations to mitigate said risks
- Collaborate with various development and IT teams to help ensure designs and implementations meet specified security standards
- Identify gaps in current vulnerability management processes and recommend areas for improvement

Pay Scale Information :
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $142500.00 $237500 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individuals education training work experience jobrelated skill set location and industry knowledge as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.Regular fulltime nonsales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnions annual bonus plan.
