Job Description
The University of Saint Mary is a Roman Catholic liberal arts university located in Leavenworth Kansas just 25 minutes away from Kansas City. USM serves about 1400 students at its main campus in Leavenworth its satellite location in Overland Park as well as online.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The University is seeking an adjunct faculty member in psychology. This position is a pool position meaning that openings may or may not be currently available. Your application for this position will be kept current for a period of two years.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Teach classes as assigned from the regular psychology program curriculum.
- Consult with students during regularly scheduled office hours.
- Maintain expertise in current teaching and discipline technologies.
- Perform other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates should have a Masters level degree or above in psychology OR Bachelors in psychology AND Masters or above in counseling sociology or social work.
- Additionally candidates should have an affinity to the mission of the university.
