Job Description
Professional Response Agency is currently hiring RN for Long Term Care facility in Oregon.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care including administering medications performing treatments and monitoring vital signs.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Document patient information including medical history symptoms and treatment plans in the electronic health record system
Assist with sterile processing of medical equipment and supplies.
Coordinate discharge planning and provide patient education on postdischarge care.
Perform specialized procedures such as mammography ostomy care medical imaging gastric lavage and family planning.
Safely lift and transfer patients as needed.
Coordinate durable medical equipment (DME) needs for patients.
Requirements:
Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (e.g. eClinicalWorks).
Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control practices.
Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
