GTI Energy the nations leading research development and training organization serving energy markets has an opportunity for an Electrical Technician within the Research & Engineering group. The qualified candidate will actively support cuttingedge R&D functions in collaboration with technical staff focused on bringing technology solutions to gas and energy utility companies. The candidate must be able to apply engineering practices to the development and deployment of electronic technology while working both collaboratively within the overall project team and while working independently on subtasks.

The position will be onsite based at the GTI Energy Headquarters in Des Plaines Illinois located in the Chicagoland area.
This position is within a group of engineers and scientists that bring technological solutions to gas and energy markets. The candidate must be able to apply engineering practices to the construction and testing of complex instrumentation systems. The candidate must be able to work within the structure of an overall project team while being able to work independently on subtasks. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The salary range for this position is $46000 $56000 annually. This salary range is GTI Energys good faith estimate and the actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including but not limited to GTI Energys business or organizational needs and an individuals relevant experience education qualifications certifications skills seniority geographic location and/or performance. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate monthly rate or annual salary only and do not include bonus. The range listed is just one component of GTI Energys total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses paid time off and regionspecific benefits.
