The National Sales Engineer role is focused on supporting the sales strategy and the Business Development Team. The National Sales Engineer will also provide ongoing technical support with targeted / strategic projects and accounts and serve as their best advocate for MSI solutions in the future.
Responsibilities:
Works with clients or accounts located in diverse geographic locations often requiring a broad understanding of market trends nationwide.
Handles large highprofile projects / public tenders with operations spread across multiple regions.
Works with clients whose purchasing decisions may affect multiple regions.
Responsible for creating and maintaining longterm strategies for strategic accounts.
Coordinates with regional teams to ensure consistency and alignment with national goals
Maintain a deep understanding of Avigilon (Video and Access Control) and Pelco Camera Solutions and how they fit into the larger MSI Ecosystem.
Oversees sales activities across an entire country.
Requires crossregional collaboration and leadership skills to unify efforts.
Requires a broad understanding of diverse markets and industries across the country.
Qualifications:
5 years experience in a sales engineering or presales design role for video/access control products
Strong knowledge or experience utilizing MSI Video Security & Access Control products is highly desirable
Deep Understanding of Construction Design Process and Design Deliverable stages
Ability to captivate a meeting by delivering worldclass product demonstrations and compelling sales or technical presentations to both CLevel and frontline decisionmakers
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and nontechnical audiences
Possesses strong problemsolving / troubleshooting skills with strong knowledge of IP networking architecture and cybersecurity best practices
Travel Requirements
The National Sales Engineer shall have the responsibility to cover the Canada region
70 travel primarily within your assigned territory. Limited occasional travel internationally may be required
Target Base Salary Range: $76200 $130300CAD
