The department of Psychiatry has an exciting opportunity for a fulltime Arts Therapist to work on the UHealth campus. The Arts Therapist functions as an integral part of the treatment team and facilitates groups and individual expressive art projects with patients. Key responsibilities include planning designing and implementation of therapeutic creative and expressive activities and programs for patients; provides support services for patients and their families of various ages by using creative mediums to assist them in increasing their physical cognitive and emotional health. This role also oversees group safety and plans activities that meet the patients and clinical group needs.
