Duties / Responsibilities:
Determine develop and update MI Military Occupational Specialty Training (MOST) documentation and strategies associated collective tasks and evaluation of related tasks in support of MI Skills training across the force to establish a means by which to ensure MI soldier readiness. Reviews designs and development of training and critical tasks supporting the Armys MI Training Strategy (MITS) to train personnel. Supports development of a training based upon critical skills and a standardized methodology for ensuring the readiness of individual MI Soldiers. Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory motivation theory and new materials methods and techniques. Contributes to the development of new concepts techniques and standards. Develop solutions to meet MI unit Commanders needs to train and certify their assigned MI soldiers on mission essential tasks at the individual and collective level as well as the tactics techniques and procedures (TTP) required to be performed by MI soldiers teams platforms MI Company as a whole and the Bn and BCT S2 organizations to successfully conduct intelligence operations in the current and future Operational Environment.
- Works with minimum supervision and interacts with customer and superiors. Assignments are specific in nature. Has some latitude for unreviewed routine actions or decisions.
- Participates in reviewing the development new training MOSspecific training.
- Reviews training systems and learning platform analyses design development implementation and evaluation (ADDIE).
- Analyzes current training development needs in terms of critical task requirements and potential solutions.
- Provides expert guidance technical support and training to management technical and operational personnel.
- Supports development of training capabilities as required and ensures customer requirements and expectations are met.
- Provides support at technical meetings and prepare reports when required attends reviews to evaluate and assesses gaps and requirements evaluates potential solutions.
- Assists in the preparation and presentation of briefings; provides programmatic and technical support and assistance to USAICOE Directorate of Training (DoT) and MOST leadership and cadre.
- Supports leadership and cadre by supporting the coordination and hosting of meetings reviewing and assessing planning and scheduling reviewing and analyzing MOS skill training and certification requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (or comparable level of on the job experience) with four 4 or more years of experience in military training support and development for the Military Intelligence profession. Minimum education and experience requirements are based on a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution in the intelligence or other field relevant to the support for which the individual is performing. An Associates Degree with ten 10 years of focused and relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelors Degree.
- 4 years relevant and current operational experience as at least an SFC/MSG/SGM/CSM CW2/CW3/CW4 CPT/MAJ/LTC. In SIGINT MOS career field 35N/P/S.
- Experience with SIGINT doctrine systems and practices.
- Experience reviewing MOS instructional system design training systems criteria data and tools.
- Current knowledge and understanding of Combined Joint and Army Doctrine Training Management; knowledge of evolving Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTP) as well as understanding of current and evolving Threat doctrine; understanding of Army Decisive Action missions.
- Complete understanding and application of TRADOC training principles concepts practices and standards.
- Experience with the ADDIE process
- Must possess a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI) at time of employment.
Preferred Experience:
- 8 12 years of Military Service.
- Certified USAICOE Instructor (ABIC ITC SGITC) meet and maintain all Instructor Certification requirements as specified in TRADOC Regulation (TR) 35070 and as supplemented in local regulatory policies.
- Current approved CI Scope Polygraph (CSP)
- Experience on the platform at USAICOE.
- Experience with the development and transition of new curriculum and courseware to Army use.
- Operational experience in planning and supporting full spectrum Unified Land Operations (ULO) and Counter Insurgency Operations.
