FPGA Engineer Remotepa
A company designing custom software & hardware solutions for the Space & Satcoms sector are looking for an FPGA Engineer to join their R&D team. The team works almost fully remotely with occasional visits to their site in Buckinghamshire for hardware testing & board bring up. Candidates will need the full right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to full product design lifecycle from concept to release
  • FPGA design & implementation by deriving detail systems requirements and archicture specifications
  • Write robust VHDL code
  • Hardware debugging and test
  • Communication protocol development and implementation
  • Work in a diverse team of FPGA Electronics Hardware & Software Engineers developing highlevel FPGA architecture
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
  • FPGA design & simulation
  • VHDL
  • Embedded C/C
  • Microcontrollers & Peripherals
  • High Speed circuit design
  • Hardware debugging & test
Any mix of the following is nice to have/nonessential:
  • PCB design & layout
  • Schematic capture
  • Wireless technologies
  • Experience in the Space/Satcoms sector
