FPGA Engineer Remotepa
A company designing custom software & hardware solutions for the Space & Satcoms sector are looking for an FPGA Engineer to join their R&D team. The team works almost fully remotely with occasional visits to their site in Buckinghamshire for hardware testing & board bring up. Candidates will need the full right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to full product design lifecycle from concept to release
- FPGA design & implementation by deriving detail systems requirements and archicture specifications
- Write robust VHDL code
- Hardware debugging and test
- Communication protocol development and implementation
- Work in a diverse team of FPGA Electronics Hardware & Software Engineers developing highlevel FPGA architecture
Key Skills/Experience:
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
- FPGA design & simulation
- VHDL
- Embedded C/C
- Microcontrollers & Peripherals
- High Speed circuit design
- Hardware debugging & test
Any mix of the following is nice to have/nonessential:
- PCB design & layout
- Schematic capture
- Wireless technologies
- Experience in the Space/Satcoms sector
