SCOPE OF SERVICES:
TASKS:
- Oversee operational team and give strategic direction to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
- Serve as daytoday operational manager and adhere to OTI change & incident request processes.
- Send out daily communications including status risks issues escalation etc.
- Overall operational coordination including management of resources.
- Coordinate all documentation for projects and create all deliverables defined by the OTI Applications: Custom Application division.
- Coordinate with various groups within OTI to ensure the successful completion of migrations to the test and production environments.
- Lead the crossteam coordination of all predeployment deployment and postdeployment operational activities across the various teams.
- Work with Tech Leads to address technical challenges/risks/issues that affect the operations of an application.
- Participate in operational afterhours oncall rotation as needed.
Requirements
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.
- At least 8 years of experience in managing engineering teams responsible for developing and supporting web applications and infrastructure.
- Able to manage the teams time effectively and plan for future operational requests.
- Keeps calm under pressure while providing guidance to an operational team particularly in an outage scenario.
- Able to adapt to a changing environment and incorporate new technologies as needed to increase the operational efficiency of the team and supported applications.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Selfmotivated must be a proven team leader.
- Able to lead the team to identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with migrating enterprise applications from onpremises to cloud infrastructure.
