Job Description
In need of an experienced grounds maintenance individual. Someone familiar with running a bobcat operating a tractor with bush hog mowers snow plows in the winter light tree trimming and overall complete grounds maintenance including sprinkler systems.
- Starting pay is $22.00 an hour for a store maintenance position. If you have experience starting pay can be up to $26.00.
- Earn an additional $.50 cents per hour from Midnight to 6 a.m. (see company policy upon accepting a position).
- Earn a performance review in a little as 90 days with annual reviews thereafter.
- Health Insurance is available within 90 days of your starting date.
- Vacation Pay Overtime pay over 40 hours Annual Bonus based upon store profits Overtime pay for those that work the Holidays.
The function of a maintenance individual is to perform the following duties in a friendly and professional manner ensuring a high level of customer service and store appearance. Transportationwill be provided from the corporateoffice and will travel to a company owed location and perform general LandscapeGroundskeepingduties. Each day will probably be maintaininga different location.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- control lawn maintenance replacing shrubbery and trees that die out
- Trimming and shaping shrubs and trees
- Helping keep the overall facilities throughout Missouri looking clean and crisp
- Checking irrigation systems replacing faulty valves programming system times to water
- During winter months we move inside clean and organize the warehouses do special projects
- Other tasks assigned by management
- Ability to communicate with associates and guests
- Must attend mandatory meetings (i.e. T.A.M. sexual harassment)
- Physical Requirements
- Frequent bending reaching lifting of 1 to 15 lbs
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion
- Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist
- Be able to freely access all areas of the store
