Job Description
TriState Health is looking for a clinical float to support our Family Practice and Specialty Clinics! The applicant chosen will need to be highly motivated and prepared to work in multiple practices in a fastpaced environment. Performing various patient care activities and related services in caring for the needs and comfort of patients under the direction of the physician midlevel provider or RN. Duties include but are not limited to obtaining basic assessment information including vital signs EKGs and point of care testing advocating patients; administering prescribed medications preparing exam rooms procedure room and assisting providers documenting in the patient electronic medical record.
This position receives a premium pay of $2.50/ hour.
Education and Training:
Graduate of accredited LPN program or CMA program.
Licensures/ Certifications:
Washington State LPN license required. *Idaho State LPN license required if traveling between clinics. Certified Medical Assistant License Washington and Idaho.
Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period required.
Experience:
Previous clinic experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Familiarity with medical terminology
