Job Description

Position Summary:

  • Operates sit down forklifts box cutters battery chargers and Compactor.
  • Basic function is to roll the gray bins from the production lines to the compactor and separate cardboard and trash and place in the correct compactor.
  • Recycler will return an empty gray bin to the correct spot.
  • Stack all wooden skids neatly and place in the storage trailer at the end of the night.

Position Responsibilities:

  • The rolling and emptying of all gray bins of cardboard to the recycling area and placing into the correct compactor. Then returning the empty bin to its proper location.
  • Linesetters will bring cardboard attached to wooden pallets to the recycling area. Recycler will separate cardboard from pallet dispose of cardboard and stack pallets neatly. Pallets will be moved to the proper wood storage trailer.
  • Basic housekeeping for that area and surrounding area around the recycling area.
  • Compliance with all Internal and External Production Quality Management Systems and Group Directives.

Other tasks required by supervision

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum one year material handling experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
  • Frequently lifts materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
