Job Description
As an Electrician you will ensure a safe efficient and wellmaintained hotel environment. You will maintain wiring domestic hot and cold water systems control HVAC electrical plumbing repairs and lighting systems. You will be expected to inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers and assist with general maintenance duties.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and complete equipment PMs.
- Operate and maintain lowpressure boiler for the hot water system.
- Operate and maintain other vessels as needed for hot water kitchen steam and air conditioning systems.
- Assist mechanics and external contractors with repairs of hotel property and equipment.
- Repair and maintain commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Repair and maintain swimming pool and pool equipment.
- Completion of all assigned work orders and daily tasks.
- Receive direction for house calls via radio.
- Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
- Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
- Have a thorough understanding of OSHA rules and regulations.
Qualifications
- Required to have a Class 2 operating engineer license
- Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry electrical plumbing etc.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- Must exhibit a positive attitude at all times
- Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a motor vehicle background check.
