Job Description
Essential Duties:
- To satisfactorily perform as directed routine preventive maintenance and repairs in rooms and public areas including minor electrical roofing plumbing and A/C services.
- To satisfactorily perform as directed routine maintenance and repairs of operational equipment including water features.
- To promptly respond to service requests from guests and fellow employees.
- To promote and comply with all policies and procedures of Temecula Creek Inn.
- To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
- To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.
- To practice safe work habits at all times to avoid injury to self and others including the safe operation of all powerdriven machinery.
- To ensure safe work practices of all Maintenance staff including compliance with company and departmental safety rules and regulations and the proper use and handling of all relevant equipment.
- To ensure departmental safety training for all new Maintenance employees before they begin to work.
- To conduct regular departmental operations meetings including monthly safety meetings.
- To ensure proper use storage and labeling of all hazardous chemicals used by Maintenance employees in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- To attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
- To perform other tasks including cross training as directed.
Knowledge Education: Able to read speak and write English and to follow simple verbal directions. Able to perform simple calculations using basic eighthgrade arithmetic. Experienced with typical hand and power tools used to perform assigned duties. Must have general knowledge of building construction and materials. Must be able to distinguish colors. Hotel experience preferred.

Physical Demands: Indoors: Works in every area of the house and property. Outdoors: Exposed to weather conditions while performing tasks. Exposed to hazardous substances and fumes. Exposed to noise of powerdriven machinery. Bilevel structures. Extensive property. Works in confined difficulttoaccess areas.
