Direct Care Team/CAN: currently seeking compassionate motivated applicants who have a passion for working with the elderly. The direct care team member is responsiblefor providing the hands on care both physical and emotional as outlined in each residentsservice plan. The direct team member is also responsiblefor ensuring that light housekeeping laundry and dining support are also completed. Direct team members assist with social activitiesand outings therefore becoming part of the residents extended family by providing resident centered care. The direct care team member is responsible for effectively communicatingwith residents and families notifying the Resident Care Coordinator of any changes in condition or concerns and is an essential part of the care team providing support to our residents.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to read write and speak English
- Able to make responsible choicesdecisions and act in the residents best interest
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a passion for working with the elderly
