Our Cambridge facility serves as a significant manufacturing site within the Septodont group with high volume dental anesthetic production for a global customer base.
We have an opportunity for a SetUp Operator II
The Set Up Operator IIis accountable to the Production Supervisor for all activities relating to the setup of all filling equipment as well as minor repairs to meet the companys objectives and in accordance with the requirements outlined in Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Setsup and disassembles the filling machines.
Performs basic trouble shooting and minor adjustments and interventions on the filling machines.
Trains new filling room operators on filling machine operation.
Reports any problems of production equipment to Lead Hand / Supervisor of area.
Reports and works with the Production Supervisor and maintenance to resolve production/ equipment problems.
Communicates any filling room supplies that are required to run production efficiently.
Participates in continuous improvement teams as required.
Performs filling inprocess quality checks as required.
Assist with QNote and DIR Investigations.
Follows all Aseptic practices and behavior while involved in Aseptic processes.
o Understands the first air principle to avoid cross contamination of products and their components.
o Understands basic Microbiology.
o Follows proper cleaning and sanitization techniques.
o Maintains annual Gowning Certification
Takes on the role of the Operator as needed.
Follows GMP and regulatory requirements and ensures quality standards are met.
Observes and supports all safety guidelines and regulations.
Demonstrates the Company Mission Vision and Values Statements policies and current standard business practices.
Performs other related duties as required.
High school diploma
A minimum of 1year related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to work any shift in a 24/7 environment.
Pharmaceutical food or cosmetic industry experience is considered an asset.
Demonstrated mechanical experience or mechanical aptitude.
Proven analytical and trouble shooting skills.
Ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment.
Strong verbal communication skills.
