Job Description
The company were partnered with is a privately held contract manufacturer of injectionmolded medical aerospace and industrial parts. They manufacture highend parts in large or small quantities and have stateoftheart capabilities.
We are seeking a handson Process Technician who can keep molding processes running smoothly and troubleshoot issues as needed to produce highquality plastic components.
Preferred Experience
- Working knowledge of and experience with scientific injection molding
- 5 years of experience providing technical support solutions to manufacturing processes improving yield and throughput driving cost reduction activities and improvements on parts.
- 5 years of handson troubleshooting experience to solve both current and new product issues.
Essential Functions
- Provide technical support/solutions to manufacturing processes improve yield and throughput drive cost reduction activities and improve on part quality.
- Develop and maintain process documentation ensuring that processes and procedures are clearly stated and understandable for all employees.
- Assist Process Engineer with process development following qualification protocol requirements and the creation of productions technical documentation.
- Use scientific injection molding principles in the development of qualifying a new mold.
- Troubleshoot existing processes to improve product quality productivity and overall equipment efficiency.
- Implement technical solutions including scientific and statistical methodology to meet customer cost quality and delivery expectations.
Shift Hours 2:00pm 11:00 PM Monday Friday
