The Boeing Company is looking for a Weapons Associate Software Engineer located in St. Charles MO.

The Direct Attack Weapons Software team is seeking a software engineer to develop integrate test and deliver complex software solutions. The engineer will work with a multidiscipline engineering team to design develop and deploy operational flight software on weapon systems. The engineer will work in all phases of the software development lifecycle to implement realtime embedded software applications for guidance navigation and mission management.

Position Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a multidiscipline engineering team to create and implement Operational Flight Program software solutions
Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle in an Agile development environment
Develop solutions using Ada C# and Python
Test your software and assist system level testing to verify correct software functionality
Analyze problem reports and troubleshooting software defects
Develop leadership skills and experience
Opportunity to work directly with United States Air Force and Navy customers

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance (PostStart).

Coding Challenge:
To be considered for this position you will be required to complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1 years of experience with full lifecycle software development modeling simulation testing and/or analysis using C C C# Python Java Ada and/or Linux
1 years of experience developing software using Object Oriented principles

Preferred Qualifications:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard
Experience working in an Agile software development environment
Experience with Git or a similar version control system
Realtime embedded software development
