Job Description
Seeking maintenance laborers for first shift for a local housing authority in Chambersburg PA and Waynesboro PA.
Job would entail working mostly in Chambersburg but there will be times when the work is in Waynesboro. Jobs are first shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There would be flexibility for parttimers on the hours.
Job Responsibilities:
Refurbish housing units under management of agency
Specific duties could include cleaning buildings patching walls painting replacing broken items some plumbing type work.
Basic carpentrytype work
Could include mowing and landscaping of properties during warner periods and snow removal in winter
Working on work orders from tenants in public housing units to fix items
Do anything that is needed in operation of the agency
Desired Skills and Experience:
Need someone mechanical with handymantype experience
Need a fast paced worker who is willing to do different things everyday
Need someone who doesnt need a lot of followup once given direction
Need someone who works in a safe manner
Need someone who is respectful. You will be working in a public housing arena and interacting with many different people.
Need someone with a good driving record
