Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing a wide variety of inspection activities on a range of company products and customer parts. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
- Use precision measuring instruments to very close tolerance requirements.
- Must be able to use standard inspection equipment ID or OD mics dial bore gages digital or dial calipers thread gages etc.
- Must be able to read and interrupt blueprints and engineering specifications
- Monitor quality of own work to assure adherence to quality standards and prepare detailed inspection reports as required document nonconformances.
- Keep required time and maintain productions records.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
- High School degree desired or equivalent experience
- Prefer 35 years experience in a similar capacity
- Use and interpret precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of CMM inspections Magnetic Particle inspections and knowledge of SPC a plus.
- Good math language reading skills
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Visual Acuity
- Physical stamina and strength
- Some lifting of various weights both assisted and unassisted
- Drive and Operate Forklift; may be required
- Good eye/hand coordination and good motor skills
- Shop environment
- Responsible for the safety and cleanup of own area
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the US
