Job Description
Store Planner
Bloomington MN Hybrid (TTh InOffice) Contract 12 Months $2430/hr
Konik is partnering with a large retail chain seeking to add a Store Planner for a longterm contract. This is an opportunity for an experienced store or space planning professional to get experience with a wellknown retail chain for a longterm contract. The contract is for 12 months but there is a possibility this position could be extended for the right local individual. A background in retail store planning commercial space design or interior design is required.
Store Planner Responsibilities:
- Plan and design multiple architectural and floor plan drawings for typical and more complex projects including open stores new stores resets remodels and relocations from project inception to completion
- Utilizing standard prototype criteria and macro space tools draw and support the creation of floor plans elevations site plans and construction documents as they relate to the development of retail environments
- Evaluate retail environments for operational compliance for stock/inventory merchandise areas loss prevention product optimization needs and store operations
- Provide accurate and timely information of product fixture and adjacency counts to others as requested
- Apply product to floor plans and ensure that product placements are aligned with optimal product count request product adjacencies needs and business requirements are met for all projects
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Store Planner Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting Interior Design or similar
- 2 years Auto CAD 2000 or newer experience
- 2 years professional experience in architectural store planning environment or interior store design
- Strong analytical organizational and collaboration skills specifically with the ability to create logical plans that will maximize sales and create a positive customer experience
- Microsoft Office Products and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
