Business Intelligence Manager I Viator
About the Role
As a key leader within our B2B Strategy & Operations team the Business Intelligence Manager will be responsible for developing scalable analytics solutions and promoting a datadriven culture. This role requires a balance of technical data expertise business acumen and leadership ensuring that insights are both accessible and actionable for stakeholders across B2B sales marketing and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in business intelligence reporting and data analytics with a passion for mentorship and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize BI solutions refining data processes to enhance insights and decisionmaking.
Translate business needs into scalable dashboards reports and analytical models for strategic decisionmaking.
Mentor and educate teams and stakeholders on BI best practices tools and datadriven strategies.
Ensure data integrity and reliability managing reporting databases and identifying improvement opportunities.
Conduct deepdive analyses to uncover trends business opportunities and operational efficiencies.
Collaborate with Data Engineering to maintain serviceable data models and ETL processes.
What Were looking For
6 years of experience in business intelligence data analytics or strategy preferably within digital ecommerce or B2B environments.
Proficiency in BI tools (e.g. Tableau Looker Power BI) and strong SQL skills for data extraction transformation and reporting.
Foundational knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing (e.g. BigQuery Snowflake AWS) to ensure data is structured for accurate reporting.
Strong mentorship and leadership skills with a passion for teaching BI concepts and enabling teams to become more datadriven.
Proven experience in designing implementing and optimizing reporting solutions ensuring data is both accurate and businessrelevant.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple workstreams and drive alignment across teams.
Excellent communication skills capable of presenting datadriven insights clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
