Job Description

Do you have a passion for driving sales leading teams and ensuring world class service Sprague Pest Solutions is seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to join our team in Salt Lake City. In this position youll be responsible for developing a team of pest control professionals driving sales growth achieving budget goals and ensuring compliance in safety and industry standards. What youll do:

  • Leadership and Workforce Management: Recruit hire and retain team members; train and coach staff; foster a safe inclusive and productive work environment.
  • Operational Oversight: Assess service quality; manage inventory equipment and resources; monitor and report on budgetand financial performance.
  • Sales and Business Development: Build and maintain client relationships; develop strategies to grow the client base and revenue; identify new business opportunities; address customer inquiries.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations; train team members on pest control practices; oversee the handling and disposal of pesticides and chemicals.
  • This position will support the greater Utah market with a physical service center in Salt Lake City

Position Title: Branch Manager

Department: Operations

Reports to: Reports to Regional Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Exemption: Executive Administrative

EEOC Class: First/MidLevel Officials and Managers

Salary: $85000 $95000 annually plus incentives

Position Summary:

The primary responsibility for the Branch Manager is to lead a commercial pest control branch in a direction consistent with the Sprague mission culture and business plan. The Branch Manager will be responsible for training staff to consistently and passionately deliver uncompromising service to all clients. This position requires a passion for leading people and processes to achieve budget goals drive sales performance and ensure compliance in the field. The Branch Manager will foster loyalty and retention among both clients and team members assess the evolving needs of the workforce and marketplace and implement policy and process changes to support Spragues longterm growth strategies.


Essential Functions:

o Assess staffing levels and workforce strengths recruiting hiring and retaining team members who align with Spragues culture and commitment to service quality.

o Train and coach team members encouraging continuous improvement and professional development.

o Foster a safe inclusive and productive work environment.

o Regularly assess service quality ensuring pest control services are delivered efficiently and meet client industry and Sprague standards.

o Manage inventory equipment and resources controlling costs and waste.

o Monitor and report on the branchs budget expenses and financial performance.

o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients vendors suppliers and the community.

o Develop and implement strategies to grow the branchs client base and revenue.

o Identify new business opportunities and market trends.

o Address customer inquiries and resolve service issues promptly.

o Ensure all team members perform all job duties including operating motor vehicles according to company and industry safety standards

o Stay updated on local state and federal regulations regarding pest control practices and ensure all team members are trained and informed.

o Oversee the correct handling storage and disposal of pesticides and chemicals to prevent accidents and environmental contamination

Job Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management or related field

Previous pest control experience

Pest control industrial or safety certifications


Physical Requirements:

Physical Strength and Stamina: Ability to handle pest control equipment and work in various conditions and environments1.

Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials which may weigh up to 50 pounds.

Bending Stooping and Crawling: Frequent bending stooping and crawling to access and treat pestinfested areas.

Standing and Walking: Prolonged periods of standing and walking while inspecting and treating areas.

Working in Confined Spaces: Ability to work in tight or confined spaces such as crawl spaces equipment rooms and silos.

Climbing: Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when necessary.

Use of Protective Equipment: Wearing protective gear including gloves goggles and respirators to reduce the risk of harm from pesticides

Working in various weather conditions: Preparedness to work outdoors in all types of weather including extreme heat cold and rain.

Safety awareness: Ability to follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment to minimize health risks from exposure to chemicals and pests
