Job Description
CERTIFIED PROJECT MANAGER (KEY PERSONNEL)
AAI is actively recruiting for the certified project manager (CPM) for the duration of the contract. The CPM must have a valid project management certification such as a Project Manager Professional from the Project Management Institute or an equivalent and at least three years of experience after certification. The project manager will be responsible for overseeing the projects planning coordination monitoring and reporting to government stakeholders. They will ensure the project adheres to timelines mitigate risks resolve issues and maintain quality standards. The certified project manager must also provide proof of the project managers qualifications upon request by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Qualifications:
The certified project manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the project including but not limited to:
- Creating project plans and schedules.
- Coordinating project activities and resources.
- Tracking project progress and ensuring adherence to timelines and service level agreements.
- Providing project status updates to government stakeholders (GPM COR CS and CO).
- Identifying and addressing project risks.
- Resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
- Ensuring that quality standards are maintained throughout the project.
- Regularly reporting on project performance and deliverables to GPM COR CS and CO.
Requirement:
- The certified project manager must have proven experience in project management.
- The project manager must have a history of successfully managing projects of similar scope and complexity.
- The project manager must provide evidence of the project managers certification and qualifications upon request by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
- The project manager must hold a valid and recognized certification in project management such as the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI) or an equivalent certification recognized by the Federal Government.
- The certified project manager must have at least three 3 years of experience after completing the certification.
