Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Utility Maintenance Worker to join our team. This is a 1st shift position working in our Neenah WI facility.

Custom Marine is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered original equipment and aftermarket stainless steel exhaust headers exhaust pipes mufflers and other marine and industrial components. Our products support healthcare military law enforcement banking gas stations etc.

Position Summary

  • Work with Maintenance personnel on completing maintenance tasks.
  • Performs work inside and outside all facility areas including manufacturing floor loading dock above ceiling on the roof on the buildings grounds.
  • Complete water treatment daily and weekly tasks.
  • Follow lockout tagout procedures.
  • Works effectively with suppliers internal customers and contractors.
  • Clean shop take out trash and wash and clean floors.
  • General repairs to the building and equipment.
  • Completion of work orders.
  • Custodial duties.
  • Ice and snow removal.
  • Grounds work.
  • Oil motors change belts and replace filters on equipment and systems.
  • Unclog drains and sewer lines when necessary.
  • Performs painting tasks as required.
  • Utilize forklift and scissor lift to complete tasks.
  • Drive company vehicles when needed.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency.
  • Must possess good communication skills.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new procedures.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job without posing a direct threat to the safety of his or her own self or the safety of others.
  • Keep the facility clean and in good order.
  • Ensure compliance with laws on safety and environment.
