TITLE: DISTRICT MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS ASSESSMENT COMMITTEE
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Bellingham Public School District is committed to fostering a supportive inclusive learning environment where students families and educators can thrive academically and emotionally. To strengthen our districtwide mental health and socialemotional support systems we will complete a needs assessment to identify our strengths and opportunities for growth in socialemotional learning as part of a MultiTiered System of Support (MTSS).
As part of this effort we are assembling a districtwide committee to work with a consultant to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment that will help guide our approach. We want to establish a representative group of educators to assist us in this important work. The work of this committee and the needs assessment will directly inform our districts action plan and ensure that our approach to student and staff wellbeing is comprehensive inclusive and sustainable.

SALARY: $33 per hour funded by the FC311 SEL & Mental Health Grant

OUR MISSION:
The Bellingham Public School Districts enrollment is approximately 1930 students and an organizational staff of 400 employees. The district is split into the following building grade levels: DiPietro Elementary (Preschool Grade 3 Stall Brook Elementary (Preschool Grade 3 Bellingham Memorial School (grades 47 and Bellingham High School (grades 812 and Keough Memorial Academy (grades 712 is our therapeutic day school for students with special needs.
