Job Description

THE POSITION

Are you looking for a new opportunity in customer service The Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is currently on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join their team as a Customer Service Representative (CSR). In this role you will be serving as a CSR for PennDOTs Driver and Vehicle services Customer Care Center. Your role will involve ensuring that all questions are handled quickly and correctly while upholding excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role you will be responsible for addressing a wide range of inquiries related to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles Bureau of Driver Licensing Bureau of REAL ID and other PennDOT areas. This involves maintaining a positive public image of PennDOT by providing accurate information in a professional and courteous manner. Additionally the role requires processing and explaining complex information using available resources and systems while exercising independent judgment within established guidelines and regulations. CSRs must demonstrate discretion and judgment when sharing information that could potentially be misunderstood or misused.
