Job Description
Our prestigious law firm located in the vibrant city of Fort Lauderdale FL is actively seeking a talented and experienced Associate Attorney to enhance our Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team. The ideal candidate will be an astute legal professional with a passion for driving success in the dynamic world of Private Equity BuySide M&A transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of M&A transactions particularly in the private equity buyside arena.
- Draft review and negotiate complex transactional documents and agreements.
- Conduct thorough legal due diligence to identify and assess risks and opportunities in M&A transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with clients ensuring their strategic objectives are met with legal precision and commercial insight.
- Work closely with the existing team contributing to the development of strategies for M&A transactions.
- Offer guidance on fund formation finance and general corporate matters as required leveraging your broad skill set to support the teams evolving needs.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida Bar.
- 48 years of dedicated experience in M&A with a specific focus on Private Equity BuySide transactions.
- Proficiency in fund formation finance or other general corporate law areas complementing your M&A expertise.
- Exceptional negotiation drafting and analytical skills.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of clients and team members.
