Position Summary
The Program Director and Chief Helicopter Pilot of the Aviation Science Program is the primary director for the Aviation Science program and reports to the Chair of Engineering Technology for academic areas of responsibility and the Executive Director of the Austin Peay Center at Fort Campbell for program operational areas of responsibility. Position will be at rank of Assistant Professor.
Essential Functions
Ability to fly all assigned aircraft. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to interact in an effective and appropriate manner with diverse populations the University community and the public. Ability to efficiently manage the overall operation of the Outlaw Field operations Ability to successfully interact with both faculty and nonfaculty personnel and complete all personnel actions in a timely and accurate manner. Ability to develop and interpret plans policies and procedures.
