Our company is revolutionizing the $300B US food supply industry by connecting foodservice distributors their customers and their suppliers on a single allinone order management shopping payment and tracking platform to save valuable time and build more profitable businesses.
The CutDry founders and executive team have a background uniquely suited to attack this complicated problem. Consisting of lifelong Silicon Valley entrepreneurs the leaders have built and exited multiple startups and possess deep domain expertise in the restaurant and food supply chain business. They have sold previous startups to one of the worlds largest food distributors.

The company has proven its market fit with high customer satisfaction and a successful track record. We are expanding and bringing our product to the entire market.
In this role you will build features and enhance the current experience of apps built for restaurant operators and food distributors.
As a Senior Software Engineer you will work with our customer facing teams to develop industry leading experiences for Restaurants Distributors and Manufacturers. Internally you will work closely with other engineers product managers product marketers and our executive team. You will also have the opportunity to interact directly with our customers and see your work in real world situations.
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the product team to develop high quality code to meet product requirements.
- Writes effective technical user stories and ensures that nonfunctional requirements are met to ensure performance scaling resilience and maintainability of software/solutions
- Actively resolves defects and manages technical debt
- Develops unit tests to ensure good coverage and regression testing ability
- Practices DevOps methods like CI/CD SDLC automation and proactive monitoring/telemetry
- Assures software performs optimally in production through active monitoring for performance and usage.
- Showcases accountability and ownership of software component
- Participates in code reviews design discussions and paired programming with team members
- Participates in sprint planning daily standups sprint reviews and retrospectives to enable progress and surface and resolve impediments
- Evaluates emerging technologies continually to identify opportunities trends and best practices to strengthen Cut Dry development practices
- May play a supervisory role toward junior technical resources as they commit to
Mandatory Experience:
- Bachelors degree in CS or 45 years of relevant developer experience
- 3 years of experience in developing high performance and highly scalable applications in an agile environment
- Extensive handson experience and expertise in modern programming languages (Java JavaScript PHP React Python Graphql MySQL)
- Strong understanding of Scrum Lean XP Kanban and other agile development techniques
- Strong experience building and deploying applications on a cloud platform such as AWS
- Fluency in DevOps including continuous integration continuous deployment / delivery configuration and containerization infrastructure as a code and monitoring
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
