Job Description
We are seeking to expand our team of casual Security Officers at Rockingham and Fremantle Hospitals. You will monitor activities respond to incidents and provide support to individuals in distress while maintaining a calm and respectful environment. Effective communication and empathy are essential as you will interact closely with patients and healthcare professionals. Your ability to remain composed and compassionate in challenging situations will be vital to your success.
The Role:
- Monitor the safety and security of patients staff and visitors
- Respond promptly to incidents emergencies and disturbances
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address patient needs and safety concerns
- Maintain clear and accurate records of incidents and observations
- Provide deescalation support in potentially volatile situations
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding patient care and safety
Requirements:
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Current First Aid qualifications
- WA Security & Crowd Controller Licence
- WA Working with Children Check
- National Police Clearance
- Experience in hospitals preferred but not essential
