Job Description
The Product & Operations Organization at Zoox is rapidly evolving and growing to meet the needs of our commercial service. Were hyperfocused on shaping and enabling the future for exceptional rider service from service definition to the rider experience to our daily .
We are looking for an Operations Program Manager to support and report to the Director of Fleet Operations in managing a wide range of strategic priorities and daily tasks. This role will partner closely with the department to ensure it is supported. You will be responsible for understanding and representing the department crossfunctionally sharing strategic vision and working closely with Fleet Operations leadership.
In this role you will:
- Partner closely with the Director of Fleet Operations acting as a strategic thought partner and trusted executor to support a rapidly evolving organization.
- Help develop the strategic business plan for commercialization and overarching service strategy.
- Partner with senior leaders across Product & Experience Fleet Operations Software and Program Management to define toplevel business goals prioritize key service initiatives and facilitate effective decisionmaking.
- Define drive and ensure successful business outcomes for critical initiatives dependencies and blockers ensuring working teams execute meaningfully in lockstep with business goals.
- Cultivate and maintain effective crossfunctional relationships.
- Keep a strong pulse on daily anticipating needs proactively identifying risks rapidly problemsolving and escalating as needed.
- Maintain a forwardthinking mindset to effectively get ahead of the Directors priorities and influence decisionmaking to align with future needs.
- Act on behalf of the Director where needed in crossfunctional meetings and initiatives for feedback and input.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in management consulting strategy & operations and/or program management
- Demonstrated expertise working with a Product especially in the early stages of development
- Strong executive communication skills including the ability to concisely structure and articulate issues insights and recommendations
- Selfstarter with a proven ability to build from the ground up with limited direction and excel in a fastpaced environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver servicecritical projects on time effectively prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with executives and other key stakeholders
- Bachelors degree in business and/or a STEMrelated field
Bonus Qualifications
- MBA or a Masters degree in a STEM program
- Experience with autonomous vehicles ridehail robotics or fleet management
- Management consulting or strategic consulting experience
- PMP PgMP or similar program or project management certifications
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $107000 to $152000. A signon bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling as well as positioning within a level is determined by a range of factors including but not limited to a candidates relevant years of experience domain knowledge and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
