JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Summary:
The Saw Operator will set up and inspect equipment install blades measuring the length to cut to specifications and operating the machines. The Saw Operator will be required to load raw material into the equipment in a safe and proper manner to achieve the sawing process. The Saw Operator will need to offload the completed material and inspect its features requirements using various measuring devices and recording the measurement results on the project paperwork.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand talk or hear for 1 to 10 hours a day. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to walk squat/kneel bend/stoop twist/turn grasp and reach overhead and outward. While performing this job the employee is required to lift boxes and other materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a 55 90 degree Fahrenheit environment. Work in a fast paced industrial environment wearing vision protection hearing protection steeltoed shoes and other appropriate protective clothing.
