Job Summary
ECTC Upward Bound Math & Science program is seeking a parttime temporary science instructor for its Summer Academy program from June 2 July 12. The Science instructor will teach a variety of subjects including but not limited to biology anatomy and physiology chemistry lab science physics integrated science.
Job Duties:
Preparing course plans and materials.
Design gradeappropriate curriculum based on Kentucky state standards of learning.
Incorporate ACT science questions test prep and handson activities into courses.
Incorporating laboratory activities and outdoor study opportunities.
Delivering inseat courses to high school students grades 912.
Evaluating student progress.
Provide tutoring as needed.
Teach two to three sections MondayFriday InPerson. 23 virtual review sessions.
Attend instructor meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a bachelors degree in STEM education counseling or related field and a minimum of one year of teaching experience. The ability to meet deadlines work under pressure and adjust to changing priorities is necessary. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes both daytime and evening hours. Must be willing to serve as a chaperone to UBMS students during cultural trip from July.
