SUMMARY:
The Housing Supportive Services Program (HSSP) is a specialized program that provides comprehensive and intensive fieldbased community mental health services designed to meet the unique needs of individuals in Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) who are formerly homeless and have a Severe Mental Illness (SMI) or Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). As part of a multidisciplinary team the Clinician will conduct psychotherapy with adult members that have severe and persistent mental illness in the office in members homes or the field. The Clinicians primary responsibilities are to engage members and to coordinate mental health and recovery services that will ensure housing stability and community integration. This position is responsible for maintaining the highest quality provision of direct individual and group therapeutic services and case management services while fostering teamwork among staff and across departments and programs.
