Job Description
This is a midlevel student position under the direct supervision of the University Recreation administrative staff. Availability: Up to 10 positions effective May 2018. FOAP :
Essential Functions
Ability to swim and teach swim lessons. Availability to work from May through August. Knowledge of facilitys emergency action plan and how to engage it. Availability immediately before and after each class to answer participant questions respond to concerns and consider suggestions. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to communicate effectively and interact with a diverse population. Ability to use sound judgment in decisionmaking. Ability to follow APSU guidelines policies procedures and emergency preparedness. Ability to interact in an effective and appropriate manner with diverse populations the University community and the public. Attendance and punctuality are essential in this position.
