Job Description

Job Summary:
Senior Helpers a leading nationwide provider of inhome senior care services is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide to join our team at Senior Helpers in Brick/Manchester/Toms River/Whiting New Jersey. This is a parttime hourly position in the healthcare/medical field with a hourly rate paid biweekly. As a Certified Home Health Aide you will be responsible for providing compassionate and quality care to our senior clients in their homes. This is an individual contributor role that requires professionalism reliability and a genuine interest in helping others.

Responsibilities:
Provide care and assistance to senior clients in accordance with their individual care plans
Assist with medication reminders grooming bathing and other activities of daily living.
Monitor and report any changes in clients physical emotional or mental condition to the supervising nurse.
Maintain a clean safe and comfortable living environment for clients.
Provide companionship and engage clients in activities to promote physical and mental stimulation.
Communicate effectively with clients and their families as well as the Senior Helpers team.

Requirements:
Valid New Jersey Home Health Aide Certification
Minimum of 1 year experience in a home care or longterm care setting.
Knowledge of basic personal care and hygiene skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and physically assist clients with mobility.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
