About the Unit
The Helen DeVos MRI team is made up of 14 technologists supporting Outpatient Inpatient and ER needs. This team provides expertise to West Michigans pediatric patients performing numerous exams not offered throughout the rest of the system. This team provides coverage 24/7/365 as a level 1 pediatric trauma. We work closely with pediatric sedation offering various levels of sedated exams for our patients as well as additional tools like Video Goggles patient chosen room lighting and a facility dog able to accompany patients into the MR suite.

Scope of Work
Provides health care services applying pulsed radiofrequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures computer processing and related techniques producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Qualifications
Required Associates Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
