Description:
Special Ed Instructional Assistant Preschool Classroom
Qualifications:
- Paraeducator License with early childhood endorsement or CDA or 2 year Degree or higher preferred
- Ability to work with challenging students
- Be able to work with students academically and socially
- Able to attend to personal hygiene of students
- Assist in implementing the preschool curriculum and assessment
- Good communication skills/Interpersonal skills
- Responsible for documentation and recordkeeping
- Positive caring and patient individuals preferred
- Enjoys working with students with behavior challenges
- Knowledge and experience in behavior modification program preferred
- Ability to redirect students towards positive behaviors
- If required able to communicate with students case manager medical providers and caregivers
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
