Job Description

Our Opportunity

Adjunct faculty salary for thefiscal year is $1131.00 $1154.00 per credit hour as listed in theCBA(Download PDF reader).

SPSCC accepts applications for adjunct faculty (parttime) positions on an ongoing basis to establish a qualified pool of applicants. This pool is created for future parttime professor appointments to the individual program or course indicated. This announcementwill serve as an open and continuous applicant pool. Appointment availability varies from quarter to quarter.

Candidates selected from the pool will be contacted by the division should a vacancy arise.

South Puget Sound Community College seeks an engaging and dedicated adjunct English Instructor to teach in our Humanities and Communication Division. The English Instructor will embrace change risktaking and innovation and place student success at the center of all decisionmaking. Successful candidates will engage with students faculty staff and administrators to create a community of learners and respect the richness of diverse cultural values beliefs and practices of others.
