Job Description: Business Analyst
Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX Inc. a premiere Government Contract (GovCon) service provider is seeking a Business Analyst to provide supportive services for a DHS client. This position will be performed onsite.
The ECOMPEX career position supports the following:
- Provide onsite support to participate in daily operations ensuring continuous collaboration with leadership and managing day to day tasks.
- Participate in establishment activities security threat assessments and other vetting activities.
- Possess 4 or more years of experience in the following areas below:
- Expertise with information technology tools analyzing the deep web to determine transportation links.
- Expert knowledge with identity resolution concepts and techniques.
- Expertise with vetting and security threat assessments of insider threats.
- Expertise in publicly available social media and other nonconventional data sources.
- Ability to independently produce written assessments graphic representations of findings source documentation and summary briefings.
- Previous exposure to or experience with some key areas of concern for Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) including but not limited to watchlisting vetting counterterrorism transportation infrastructure opensource information such as social media.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Bachelors degree required in a related field of study; Masters Degree preferred.
- Must possess a TopSecret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability.
- Excellent analytical organizational and time management skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills to include presentation development for senior ranking Government officials.
- Experience and comfort working through problems with unclear outcomes creative thinking and problem solving with an orientation toward results.
- Previous exposure to or experience with some or all the relevant analytic tools such as Analysts Notebook or other open source or commercially deployed network mapping and correlation tools.
- Experience working closely with or in government organizations.

Travel Expectations: Travel is required for this position.
