Job Description
The Department of History Rutgers UniversityNew Brunswick invites applications for PartTime Teachers to teach undergraduate courses in U.S. History; European History; African Asian and Latin American History; and/or Global History. (Specific courses to be taught by PTLs will be determined by the department each semester. Courses may be introductory surveys or upperlevel courses focused on specific themes or topics. As the instructor of record a PTL is responsible for preparing the course syllabus delivering lectures and leading discussions assessing student work in a timely manner holding weekly office hours responding to student emails and submitting final course grades to the registrar.
